Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with learning difficulties.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive. You will work collaboratively with teachers, students, and other support staff to ensure that each student receives the necessary support to facilitate their active participation in school and classroom activities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents. You will also have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills, with experience in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

You will be passionate about supporting students with disabilities and have a minimum Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support, or be prepared to study towards one. You will also have high-level problem-solving skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Minimum Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support
* Passion for supporting students with disabilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills
* High-level problem-solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and other support staff

Others:

A Working with Children's Check and a police check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired. A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) and Anaphylaxis Certificate are also required prior to starting in the role.
