About the Role – Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be joining our dedicated teams across Scone Hospital and Murrurundi Hospital, gaining the unique opportunity to contribute to emergency care services across two vibrant communities. Supported by a collaborative team of Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, Student Nurses, and an onsite Clinical Nurse Educator, you'll be part of a workplace that values growth, teamwork, and excellence.
No two days are the same, with the opportunity to care for a wide variety of patients and presentations. You'll be encouraged to broaden your clinical expertise with access to dedicated education and training, including full-time Clinical Nurse Educator support, mentorship from Clinical Quality Managers, and guidance from experienced Nurse Unit Managers.
We prioritise your professional development with structured check-ins at 30 and 60 days, along with annual development reviews aligned with Hunter New England Health policies. With flexibility in rostering patterns, availability of extra shifts, and the chance to explore other departments as your career interests evolve, this role offers both stability and growth.

* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
