A prominent, global Expert Services and Consulting firm is strategically expanding its presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market. We are seeking an accomplished Managing Director/Partner to serve in its Cyber Investigations, Digital Forensics, and eDiscovery capability, based in Sydney.
This is a senior leadership position designed for a specialist capable of driving the strategic direction, securing significant engagements, and delivering highly complex technical matters. This role offers the unique autonomy to build a market-leading practice under a globally recognized brand, fully integrated with the wider APAC team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
* Australian market leadership: Leading the development and growth of the Australian practice with complete access to the entire national market for Cyber Investigations and eDiscovery mandates.
* Practice origination: Proactively developing and securing new mandates in digital forensics, incident response, complex litigation, and regulatory investigations.
* Expert delivery: Serving as a testifying or lead technical expert on high-stakes, large-scale domestic and cross-border matters.
* Strategic growth & APAC integration: Integrating the new Australian capability with the firms established regional teams across APAC and collaborating closely with global partners.
* Team development: Bringing proven leadership experience to develop local capabilities and play a significant role in building out the local team as required with technical human resources.
We are seeking a current Partner or Managing Director from a Big Four, global law firm, or specialised forensic consultancy. Candidates must demonstrate deep, verifiable experience in generating significant client revenue and leading teams in the following domains:
* Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR)
* eDiscovery, Document Review, and Litigation Support
* Complex Compliance and Regulatory Investigations
* Data Analytics in a disputes context
