A Practice Supervisor is required for a Not-for-Profit based in Townsville.

Your new role
In your new role you will be reporting to the Executive Director, and you will guide and develop staff to achieve excellence, meeting both program requirements and organisational goals.
The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
* Provide supervision and professional development to staff, enhancing their practice and skills.
* Collaborate with program managers to address emerging needs in professional practice and skill development.
* Supervise provisionally registered psychologists (if applicable).
* Ensure ethical and professional practice in line with relevant professional bodies and funding requirements.
* Develop and implement evidence-based frameworks and interventions to support best practices.
* Maintain accurate records of supervisory activities.
* Participate in performance management processes, including probation reviews, performance improvement, and appraisals.
* Support program managers in integrating organisational values, mission, and policies into their work.
* Develop and deliver workshops or training for internal and external stakeholders as needed.
* Review the quality of clinical work through file audits, practice observation, and collaboration with program management.
* Work with Managers and Human Resources to develop and implement performance improvement plans.
* Maintain proactive communication with program management to ensure consistent staff support and development.
* Uphold the ethos and values of the organisation in all activities.
Comply with relevant legislation, service agreements, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
* Conduct duties in accordance with the Supervision Framework and practice standards.
* Contribute to program and service reviews as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification in psychology or social work, with over 5 years of experience in the social or community services sector.
* Preferably, registration as a Psychologist with Psychology Board of Australia Supervision approval or AASW registration.
* Extensive experience in providing professional supervision and the ability to model and foster strong professional ethics and technical skills.
* A deep understanding of various therapeutic interventions for children, individuals, families, and couples, and the ability to apply these in supervisory work, including managing complex cases and risk assessment.
* Active involvement in research and development of therapeutic, evidence-based interventions and contribution to new funding opportunities.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships across multiple levels and disciplines.
* A strong commitment to maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
* A current open driving licence.
* Current Working with Children Blue Card and Disability services Yellow Card, or the ability to obtain both.

The position offers a SCHADS 7 Salary ranging between $115,065.08 - $119,871.96, with NFP Salary Sacrificing opportunities.
