About the Role
BMD is seeking a highly experienced Project Controls, Earned Value & Risk Manager to join the Eastern Freeway Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), part of the North East Link Project. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate performance tracking, risk oversight, and change management across the project lifecycle.
You’ll lead a small team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to embed best-practice systems and reporting tools that support successful project delivery—on time, within budget, and aligned with governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project controls and risk management across the full lifecycle.
Oversee risk management processes, tools, and workshops.
Manage Power BI dashboards and performance reporting.
Ensure system integrity across JDE, FPM, and other platforms.
Drive change management processes and assess impacts on cost, time, and scope.
Champion Alliance culture, safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
About You
10+ years’ experience in project controls, risk, or related disciplines.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or Business
Strong skills in Primavera P6, Power BI, and ERP systems.
Proven leadership in project controls and/or risk management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Backgrounds may include engineering, project planning, cost control, or commercial management.
