Seeking an experienced Drafter to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with engineers to convert designs and customer requirements into technical plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with engineers and salespersons to gather product requirements and designs.
* Develop bills of material (BOM) calculating dimensions and requirements in materials.
* Create detailed designs using CAD software.
* Prepare and review rough sketches, present and review with the engineering team.
* Ensure final designs comply with regulation and quality standards.
Requirements & Experience
* Hands-on experience with 2D and 3D CAD software; Solidworks and AutoCAD/Draftsight.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing activities.
* Experience as an engineer, estimator, drafter or similar.
* Detail oriented, work efficiently within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
