Senior Accountant

Location negotiable within the Sydney metro area

Permanent part-time opportunity (17.5 hours per week)

$145, $160,719.59 package includes salary ($128,284 - $141,200), employer's superannuation and annual leave loading (to be paid pro rata)

About the role

This position is responsible for supporting the Financial Control & Treasury Team in the revaluation of Property, Plant, & Equipment, preparing applicable Commonwealth and Treasury-focused statutory and regulatory financial reporting, providing expert tax advice, reviewing BAS and FBT return lodgement, developing a cash flow scenario and recommendations on optimised cash flow position and reporting, conducting business-as-usual reviews, and maintaining an effective financial control environment.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Relevant Finance or Accounting qualifications
* Experience in a tax advisory position
* Experience in Revaluation of Property, Plant, and Equipment, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
* Meet the focus capabilities for the role set out in the Role Description
* A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)

Desirable:

* CA/CPA certification
