About the role
Working in close collaboration with the Clinical Head and the Associate Program Director of Adult Access and other senior medical staff and managers, the Consultant Psychiatrist (CP) is responsible for providing leadership, management, development, implementation and delivery of adult community mental health care to ensure that Eastern Health meets legislative requirements and health service agreements negotiated with the Department of Health and Human Services as well as the strategic initiatives, model of care as well as other mental health care service provision packages as developed over time across the Eastern Health catchment.

4. Current Specialist registration with AHPRA
5. Post Graduate qualifications in Psychiatry
6. Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
7. A strong commitment to high quality care
8. The ability to work as part of a diverse team
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills
