Make a Difference Every Day…
As an Painter/Handyman, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth hospital operations by:
* Ability to work unsupervised, plan ahead and work to deadlines
* Collaborate to create a finished product per the building plan
* Knowledge of different paints and techniques
* Able to sheet, plaster and patch holes
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Ensure that all safety guidelines are being followed
* Willingness to work on tasks outside of painting
* This position will include on call work
Requirements for this position:
* Cert III in Painting and Decorating
* Able to read and understand plans, estimates and internal/external paint applications
* Work Safely at Heights
* Elevated Work Platform above 11 metres (highly desirable)
* Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards
