Our consistent growth has presented an opportunity for our Manager - Enterprise Captures to identify NGC capabilities relevant to Australia, manage the portfolio of captures, guide NGA Capture Managers and resources securing new or re-competed contracts and to manage NGA Business Acquisition Process governance.

This role is responsible for enabling the business to complete all activities necessary to win qualified opportunities and provides critical leadership and professional development of NGA Capture and Proposal resources.

The position can be based in Brisbane or Canberra. Other locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

**Day to day responsibilities of the role include**:

- Working closely with the Director Business Development to manage the pipeline of opportunities through the NGA Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
- Participation in the development of NGA's Defence Strategy and Campaigns.
- Collaborating with team members to manage BAP Governance
- Developing and maintaining the Capture Management career stream within NGA including the professional development of Capture professionals
- Overseeing the management of the Salesforce pipeline and customer relationship management tool
- Providing relevant market insights and support to Business Development colleagues in Phases 1 and 2 of the NGA BAP.
- Collaborating with US Corporate, Sector and Division stakeholders to execute the Strategy for growth in Australia.
- Participation in current program reviews to realize current program delivery performance.
- Developing key strategic relationships with industry / academia for the supply of bid expertise and as potential teaming partners.
- Ensuring capture efforts in Australia align to legal, regulatory and NG Corporate policy requirements.
- Fostering the ongoing development of enhanced brand identity for NG Australia.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with extensive experience in complex defence BD, Capture Management and/or Program Management.
- Proven success in working with advanced systems/capabilities in a program delivery _or_ program recipient context.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to inform, present, negotiate and problem solve with a wide range of stakeholders and leaders
- Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance

**Desired Experience**:

- Proven understanding of Australian Defence/Government Agency acquisition processes
- An understanding and appreciation of capability solution elements (such as scope, cost and schedule) in order to offer a competitive solution via tender or proposal.
- A demonstrated commitment to personal continuous improvement and the ability to assist business transformation throughout the organization
