We are seeking a Senior Consultant with a strong background in Data Engineering to join our dynamic team in Sydney. To be considered, candidates must have full, permanent working rights in Australia and 5+ years of industry experience in Data Engineering.

Responsibilities
Design & Deliver Data Solutions Design, build and maintain scalable data models, architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics, reporting and data-driven decision-making
Lead Analytics & Data Quality Drive data transformation and analytics delivery to ensure high standards of data quality, governance and reliability
Client Consulting & Project Leadership Lead end-to-end client engagements by providing strategic advisory from requirements gathering through solution design, implementation and optimization
Collaborate Across Stakeholders Partner with clients, internal teams and business stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose and high-impact data solutions
Team Development Coach and mentor consultants and data professionals to foster technical excellence, continuous improvement and a strong delivery-focused culture
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field with valid Australian work rights (PR or citizenship)
5+ years of advanced SQL experience including complex queries, stored procedures and managing large-scale datasets
Hands-on experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric or Databricks
Strong expertise in ETL/ELT processes and modern data transformation tools such as dbt or Coalesce
Experience delivering data visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or Looker with strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Skills
Machine learning or advanced data science techniques
Passion for data storytelling and creating engaging visualizations
Experience in data governance and ensuring data security, quality and accuracy
