The Opportunity
We are seeking General Services Officer to join our team at St George Private Hospital. This opportunity will have you being a part of a brilliant team of people responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of the hospital.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres
* Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
* Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
* Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have experience in cleaning services or housekeeping services
* Experience with auto scrubbers and polish machines
* Enjoy providing a great customer service experience
* Be a team player and love to work within a large team
* Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
* Be dedicated to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
