Animal Welfare Role
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team at our animal welfare centre.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to resolve customer issues.
Key responsibilities of this role include answering incoming calls, transferring calls to relevant departments, providing face-to-face customer service and facilitating appointment setting, as well as ensuring the register balances are reconciled at the end of each day.
* Answer incoming calls with professionalism and accurate information.
* Transfer calls to the relevant department.
* Provide strong face-to-face customer service and facilitate appointment setting.
* Facilitate the impounding and reclaiming of animals.
* Ensure the register balances are reconciled at the end of each day.
Other responsibilities include assisting with preparing invoices and other documentation, as well as document management, replacing merchandise in the Rehoming store, and completing general administrative duties.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in administrative and reception roles is required. Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite and IT systems ability is also necessary. Weekend shifts are required for this role.
