About the RoleWe are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join the engineering team at their site near Murarrie. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of plant and equipment through both planned and reactive maintenance.
Working closely with production, planners, and contractors, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, driving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across plant and control systemsSupport both planned and unplanned maintenance activities to keep equipment running at peak efficiencyContribute to root cause analysis and improvement projects to reduce downtime and optimise OEEEnsure safe and effective collaboration with production and contractor teamsComplete handovers, reporting, and maintenance documentation accuratelyProvide technical expertise on electrical and plant issues to internal stakeholdersSupport stock control, cost efficiency, and technical project work as needed
About YouQualified Electrician with a current QLD Electrical LicenceIndustrial / FMCG manufacturing experience (food industry highly regarded)Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic controls and process systemsPLC fault finding experience desirableAbility to troubleshoot effectively and solve problems under pressureStrong communication skills with a collaborative approachSafety-conscious with a focus on continuous improvement
