Optimo Designs is a well-respected creative agency working with some of Australia's most recognisable retail, health, property, and FMCG brands. We're looking for a Finished Artist who's fast, precise, and genuinely excellent at their craft.
This is not a stepping-stone role. It's for someone who cares deeply about quality, understands production inside and out, can handle volume without compromising standards, and wants to be part of a winning team for the long term.
You'll be part of a tight, talented team of 45+ creatives and producers, working on high-output, real-world national work.
The role
You'll be responsible for taking creative work across all touch points, online and offline, refining, checking, and delivering final artwork for print and digital with confidence and accuracy.
You won't be client-facing, but you'll work closely with senior designers, creatives, and our production team to make sure everything that leaves the studio is technically perfect and brand-true.
Speed matters here. So does detail. We need both.
What you'll be doing
* Finalising catalogues, packaging, POS and campaign assets for print, social and digital
* Preparing technically accurate, production-ready artwork across multiple channels
* Applying brand guidelines consistently and confidently
* Managing revisions, checking copy, layouts and assets before final sign-off
* Ensuring colour profiles, typography, imagery and specs are spot-on
* Running thorough quality checks so nothing slips through
* Working within our in-house production system to track, manage and archive files
* Collaborating with the creative team and Head of Production to keep projects moving smoothly
Key abilities (must-have)
* Strong experience across both print and digital, with a deep understanding of finished art processes
* Expert in preparing print-ready, technically accurate artwork
* Highly proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Confident in applying and protecting brand guidelines across all outputs
* Proven ability to problem-solve, manage high volumes of work and own your workflow
* Comfortable working at pace without compromising detail
* Equally strong working independently or as part of a team
* Creative eye paired with great technical skill, you know how good work should look and how it gets made

What you'll need
* Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential)
* Figma experience is a bonus
* Strong technical knowledge of file formats, outputs and channel specifications
* Solid print production experience (bleed, trim, colour separations, etc.)
* The ability to work fast, accurately and under pressure
* Clear, fluent communication in English
