The Payroll Delivery Section is seeking an Aps6 Payroll Team Leader to undertake tasks of moderately complex to complex in nature, and work under limited direction.
About the Role

* Lead and manage a payroll team ensuring deadlines and statutory obligations are effectively met.

* Coach and manage team members to develop their skills and oversee their workload.

* Perform and quality assure payroll processes at the end of each pay cycle.

* Work with IT and undertake coordinator functions and activities to ensure the system is maintained to meet business requirements.

Requirements
">
* Experience in effectively leading and managing a payroll team to deliver quality outcomes.
">
* Ability to build the payroll team's capability.
">
* Strong skills in payroll systems, helpdesk systems and Microsoft office products.
">
* Qualifications in business management, finance/payroll, or human resources.
">
* Exceptional customer service skills, including using initiative and the ability to foster effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
