Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. The Carer will be responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of their clients, while promoting independence and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, adhering to individual care plans.
* Administer medication and monitor health conditions
* Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning
* Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care, progress, and medication, in line with organisational policies.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Qualifications:
* Certification III in Individual Support or in a relevant
* Demonstrated experience providing care to individuals, preferably within a community or aged care setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Compassionate and patient demeanor
* Physical ability to assist clients as needed
* Current First Aid and CPR certification.
