We are investing in a major digital transformation and implementing Epicor Kinetic, a modern cloud ERP designed for manufacturers.
To support this implementation, we are seeking an experienced IT Projects and ERP Manager to act as the internal owner of ERP systems, IT projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is critical in ensuring ERP stability, data integrity, user adoption, and the successful delivery of IT-enabled business change across finance, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing.
This is a hands-on, senior role suited to someone who enjoys improving processes, working with data, and helping teams adopt new systems.
The Role
As the IT Projects and ERP Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day ownership, optimisation, and governance of the ERP platform and related IT initiatives.
You will act as the key liaison between the business, external ERP consultants, and service providers, ensuring systems are fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, and continuously improving.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the internal owner and key stakeholder for the ERP system and related IT platforms.
Drive ERP system efficiency, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and coordinate ERP projects and broader IT projects from planning through to delivery.
Manage system testing cycles, issue tracking, and resolution reporting.
Conduct stakeholder analysis for ERP upgrades, IT projects, and system changes.
Coordinate and support end-user training, system adoption, and change activities.
Act as a trusted point of contact for ERP-related issues, enhancements, and queries.
Manage the IT and ERP budget, including consultant spend, licencing, and modules.
Procure, manage, and review ERP and IT consultant and service agreements.
Monitor vendor performance, costs, and contract compliance.
Produce regular KPI and management reports, including monthly reporting on ERP issues logged and resolved.
About You
You are a systems-focused IT professional who is comfortable operating as both a technical and business-facing leader.
You will ideally bring:
A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Strong experience in ERP systems ownership, ERP project delivery, or IT project management.
Experience managing ERP vendors, consultants, and service providers.
A strong understanding of ERP data integrity, controls, and reporting.
Proven experience driving system improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across finance, operations, and manufacturing.
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments (highly desirable).
Experience with Epicor or similar manufacturing ERP systems (highly desirable).
