About the role
JOSTRANS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team in Lara, Victoria. As a full-time forklift operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facility, ensuring the smooth movement and storage of inventory.
What you'll be doing
- Operating various types of forklifts to move, stack and retrieve materials and products within the warehouse
- Carefully loading and unloading trucks to ensure the safe transportation of goods
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting on stock levels
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures to minimise workplace risks
- Collaborating with the warehouse team to optimise workflow and productivity
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on forklift equipment
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a forklift operator, preferably within a warehousing or logistics environment
- Forklift licence or certification (such as a Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck)
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
