Job Opportunity: Station Manager Couple

We are seeking a capable and experienced Station Manager Couple to oversee the day-to-day running of a well-established pastoral station in a remote area of Australia.

* The successful candidates will lead operations including livestock management, team leadership, infrastructure projects, and general station oversight.

About the Role:

The Station Manager Couple will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the station, leading a small, capable team, and supervising contractors. They will also manage stock work, herd health, seasonal planning, property improvements, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades. Additionally, they will maintain compliance and safety procedures, order fuel, stores, and other supplies, and submit timesheets and contractor invoices to head office.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day station operations
* Lead a small, capable team and supervise contractors
* Manage stock work, herd health, and seasonal planning
* Handle property improvements, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades
* Maintain compliance and safety procedures
* Order fuel, stores, and other supplies
* Submit timesheets and contractor invoices to head office

About You:

* Proven experience managing or co-managing a livestock property (ideally goats and/or cattle)
* Hands-on and practical with strong common sense
* Confident people leader with mentoring ability
* Comfortable working to a budget and handling light administration
* Remote area experience essential - you understand what's involved in remote living
* A current driver's licence
