About the Role: We are seeking a General Psychologist to join our team in Geelong on a part-time basis.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide evidence-based interventions that support clients facing mental health challenges and age-related concerns.
This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding caseload, within a flexible and supportive environment backed by Practice Nurses and Medical Receptionists who will handle administrative tasks.
Bring your specialist skills to assist in areas such as
Provide Evidence-Based Therapy – Deliver psychological assessments and interventions for clients across primary care and aged care settings.
Work Collaboratively – Engage with GPs, healthcare teams, and aged care providers to develop holistic care plans.
Support Diverse Client Needs – Address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and cognitive decline.
Maintain Ethical & Professional Standards – Adhere to AHPRA regulations, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
Develop Treatment Plans – Tailor interventions to individual client needs using evidence-based approaches.
Complete Clinical Documentation – Maintain accurate and timely case notes and reports in line with professional standards.
Deliver Psychoeducation & Support – Provide education and coping strategies to clients, families, and caregivers.
Engage in Professional Development – Stay up to date with best practices through training and supervision.
Demonstrate Strong Communication Skills – Effectively communicate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
AHPRA Registration Required – Must be a registered psychologist with AHPRA and meet all professional requirements.
