Drive Quality Excellence as a Mid-Senior Level QA/QC Manager
This role offers an opportunity to lead quality assurance and control activities, serving as a technical specialist in various areas. You will assist in defining inspection processes, certify co-workers, and manage the inspection staff.
Typically certified as Inspector Level II or III in multiple disciplines, you will assign staff according to QA/QC needs, including inspections and audits. You will also oversee quality assurance documentation generated, assembled, and maintained for specific projects.
You will ensure all records are reviewed for legibility, completeness, traceability, and conformance to standards. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing Company/Project QA/QC programs in accordance with owner and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assign staff according to QA/QC needs, including inspections and audits.
* Oversee quality assurance documentation generated, assembled, and maintained for specific projects.
* Ensure all records are reviewed for legibility, completeness, traceability, and conformance to standards.
* Assist in developing and implementing Company/Project QA/QC programs in accordance with owner and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline and 6 years' related experience, or equivalent.
* Knowledge of construction practices (formwork, rebar, concrete placement).
* Quality assurance experience, preferably in nuclear power or DOE/DOD facilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint/FileNet, and Blue Beam.
