What you'll do
WSP's Mining team in Adelaide is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Civil Engineer who is keen to build strong technical capability through hands-on design engineering work on mining and related infrastructure projects.
This role is well suited to an engineer who has moved beyond purely project coordination and wants to continue developing as a practical, technically grounded civil design engineer within a leading consultancy environment.
* Civil engineering input for mining and associated infrastructure projects
* Preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
* Supporting site development works such as earthworks, drainage, roads, and civil infrastructure
* Working closely with senior engineers to deliver technically sound, constructible solutions
* Coordinating with other disciplines and supporting project delivery outcomes
* Exposure to feasibility studies, detailed engineering, and execution‐phase support
About you
* 2+ years' experience as a Civil Engineer within consulting or project environments
* Demonstrated exposure to practical civil engineering work (not solely project engineering)
* Experience on mining projects and/or heavy infrastructure projects
* Familiarity with Australian standards and engineering practices
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A genuine interest in developing your technical capability within mining
