The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is seeking a full time Director of Marketing to lead our marketing function with bold thinking, commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver results. This newly created role offers the chance to shape and execute the marketing strategy across our Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) operations, influencing directives that drive growth and brand impact.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Strategic Partnerships (with matrix reporting to the U.S.), you will lead a small, dispersed team and provide innovative, strategic leadership across diverse portfolios, including hospitality operations in airports, stadiums, parks, resorts, gaming, and merchandise for stadiums and clubs.

What will you do?
* Lead Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute integrated plans that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial success
* Deliver ROI-Focused Campaigns: Oversee campaigns across digital, experiential, and traditional channels with measurable outcomes
* Champion Growth: Align marketing initiatives with business objectives, revenue targets, and customer insights
* Elevate the Brand: Strengthen Delaware North’s positioning through storytelling, innovation, and market intelligence
* Inspire Leadership: Motivate and guide your team while fostering collaboration and constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Manage Budgets: Ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI in all marketing spend
* Drive Digital Transformation: Lead automation and omnichannel marketing initiatives
* Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
More about you
* Proven success in senior marketing roles, ideally within hospitality or tourism
* Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and social media
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
* Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful marketing strategies and manage budgets effectively
* Deep understanding of SEO, digital campaigns, and ROI metrics
* Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to work independently, manage remote teams, and travel as required
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or related field
