Who we are looking for
We're looking for Project Director to join GHD's national Delivery Phase Services (DPS) business. Your industry knowledge, contacts and proven track record to successfully oversee the delivery of large-scale energy projects will see you spearhead growth for our project delivery group. This role will be based in Queensland, with the flexibility to work from any of our offices.

Responsibilities
* Winning work and developing client relationships
* Leading delivery of major projects through the execution phase
* Leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering client excellence
* Coordinating with site-based teams and contractors
* Developing opportunities utilising established industry connections with clients and subcontractors
* Supporting business development initiatives and being accountable for bids assigned as a bid leader
* Leading, coordinating and administering end-to-end delivery of the project from commencement through to finalisation
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client and internal team and driving collaboration to meet client and project objectives and expectations
* Preparing project management plans and ensuring technical compliance, project governance, lessons learnt capture and process enhancements to embed continuous improvement
* Ensuring project financial performance and risk management, accountability for project safety, scope, cost, quality and schedule
* Coordinating with site-based teams and contractors
* Mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of safety, innovation, sustainability and collaboration
What you will bring
* As an experienced Project Manager, you will have at least 15 years' experience in delivering renewable projects through the development and execution phases, in particular on wind projects in Australia
* Experience working in an engineering consulting environment
* Industry connections (client or contractor-side or for OEM)
* Experience in developing proposals, budgets and schedules for execution projects
* High attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
* Embrace our shared commitment to safety in all aspects of work
* Construction management or site experience welcome
* Bachelor's degree qualification in engineering or other relevant discipline
