The Continental Sorrento is one of Victoria’s most iconic hospitality precincts, spanning hotel accommodation, multiple dining venues, weddings, conferences, social events and entertainment.

From luxury stays and destination weddings to major events and nightlife, The Conti blends heritage, hospitality and entertainment into a truly unique destination.

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager who loves building campaigns from concept to execution and thrives in the detail of bringing them to life.

This role is about making things happen. You’ll work closely with our General Manager of Sales & Marketing to build a marketing calendar that supports revenue targets across the precinct, then bring it to life through sharp execution, strong content and seamless campaign delivery.

The Role

The Marketing Manager leads the day-to-day delivery of marketing across The Continental Sorrento precinct, including Conti Bar, Barlow nightclub, Cee Cee’s and Ember, as well as our function and events spaces.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for bringing The Conti brand to life across digital and physical touchpoints while supporting commercial objectives and revenue growth.

Working closely with the General Manager of Sales & Marketing, and in partnership with the Kickon Group Marketing Director, central head-office marketing team, Digital Ads Specialist and external design agency, the Marketing Manager will execute campaigns, manage digital and print channels, oversee content and collateral, support event launches and identify opportunities to grow audience engagement, bookings and brand presence.

This role suits someone who enjoys being close to the detail, takes pride in delivery and thrives in a fast-paced premium hospitality environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Campaign Planning & Execution

• Work with the General Manager of Sales & Marketing to deliver seasonal marketing priorities aligned with commercial targets across the precinct.
• Translate revenue priorities into structured marketing activity and a clear marketing calendar.
• Write campaign briefs for events, activations, entertainment and seasonal initiatives.
• Coordinate design, print, media and supplier deliverables.
• Manage timelines and ensure campaigns launch on schedule.
• Support on-site execution for major activations and events.
• Deliver post-campaign reporting and insights.

Content Creation & Social

• Capture high-quality in-venue photography and video content.
• Produce engaging content that is on trend and relevant to our target audiences for social, reels and stories.
• Oversee the scheduling and day-to-day management of organic social media channels, ensuring strong engagement, growth and premium brand consistency.
• Plan, build and deploy electronic direct marketing (eDM) communications in line with the marketing calendar.
• Ensure all websites, booking platforms and third-party listings display accurate, up-to-date information aligned with brand standards.

This is a hands-on role that includes capturing content in-venue, identifying moments worth sharing, and turning them into polished marketing assets.

Sales & Events Support

• Prepare and maintain sales decks, brochures and on-site marketing collateral supporting the sales and events teams.
• Ensure function spaces and event offerings are presented strongly across all digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support weddings, conferences and private events.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns in a hospitality, tourism, lifestyle or events environment.
• Strong execution capability with a willingness to be hands-on and accountable for delivery.
• Confident content creator across photography and video.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with an understanding of premium brand positioning and guest experience.
• Solid digital marketing knowledge including best practice across social media, eDMs, websites and campaign reporting.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in design and editing tools, email marketing platforms, social media platforms and project management tools.
• Highly organised, proactive and collaborative, with a positive and solutions-focused approach.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, events and creating memorable guest experiences.
