Job Title: Beverage Server
This is a role that involves delivering exceptional service to all guests in a casino environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically able to perform job requirements, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will take beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, retrieve orders from the bartender or kitchen, and serve to guests. They will also compute bills, accept payments, and make change as needed.
Additionally, this role requires adhering to state, federal, and local liquor regulations, removing empty or dirty glasses and serviceware, replenishing beverages as requested, and performing cleaning tasks using standard products.
* Takes beverage orders and enters them into the point-of-sale system.
* Collects orders from Bartender and/or kitchen and serves to Guest.
* Computes bill, accepts payment, and makes change for monies tendered.
* Removes empty or dirty glasses, bottles, and/or serviceware and returns them to bar or kitchen area for proper cleaning.
* Replenishes beverages as requested, frequently checking back with Guests to provide additional service.
* Performs cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as appropriate.
Mandatory Requirements
* Must be at least 21 years old.
* Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
* Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
* Must have ability to read and write English sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, take and record orders, and communicate with Guests.
* Must have cash-handling experience.
* Must have ability to learn and operate point-of-sale system.
* Must present a clean, well-groomed appearance.
This is an entry-level part-time position that requires working all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events. A valid gaming license and evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S. are required.
