About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring smooth systems, exceptional patient care, and a positive, high-performing team culture.
You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to maintain operational excellence while identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen the practice.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
* Recruitment, onboarding, rostering and performance management
* Payroll oversight and HR compliance (with external support where required)
Operations & Systems
* Implement and improve policies, procedures, and workflows
* Manage and optimise practice systems including Best Practice, Automed, Cubiko, Xero, and other essential programs
* Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
* Drive efficiencies and embrace technology improvements
Financial Oversight
* Manage accounts, banking, reconciliation, and liaise with bookkeeping support
* Monitor practice performance and identify growth opportunities
Leadership & Culture
* Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and compassion
* Support team development and continuous improvement
* Strengthen relationships with the local community
What We're Looking For
* Previous leadership experience in General Practice management
* Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
* Experience with Best Practice, Automed, Cubiko, Xero, and other practice systems
* Financial acumen and operational confidence
* A genuine passion for community healthcare
* Cultural awareness and commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes
* Resilience, initiative, and a steady, solutions-focused mindset
