Senior Hazmat Consultant
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Hazmat Consultant to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our hazmat team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support, client liaison, and project delivery.

About the Role
1. Provide day-to-day technical support to the hazmat team, ensuring seamless project delivery and high-quality service to clients.
2. Effectively liaise with clients to understand their requirements, ensure timely delivery of services, and maintain strong relationships.
3. Execute all technical report writing and performance reporting requirements within scope and stipulated timeframes.
4. Oversee technical project requirements, mentor consultants on best practices, and promote a culture of excellence.
5. Provide robust analytical skills, peer reviews, and complex risk assessments, driving accurate and reliable results.
6. Conduct and oversee sampling in accordance with NATA/AS/NZ/OSHA standards and regulations, maintaining compliance and quality.
7. Conduct regulatory compliance audits where required, identifying areas for improvement and driving positive change.
Requirements
1. Substantial industry experience in HazMat, with a strong scientific or engineering background in contaminated land management.
2. Bachelor's degree in engineering, environment, or science (or equivalent), demonstrating a solid foundation in relevant disciplines.
3. Strong understanding of scientific and engineering principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Qualifications
* PTA Certification / Licensed Asbestos Assessor.
* IP401 – Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples (PLM).
* IP402 – Surveying for ACM in Buildings.
