About the role
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Department Manager / Coordinator at our Kalgoorlie Store to help contribute to our ongoing success.
As a Department Manager / Coordinator, you will have the very meaningful job of leading the day-to-day store operations, ensuring your team build memorable experiences and making your customers D.I.Y. projects a reality. Your store will be your pride and joy – you’ll use visual merchandising to your best advantage, aligning this to store marketing plans.

* Support the store leadership team
* Set an example of best service and support the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers
* Coach the team on the right service behaviours
* Assist with inducting and training the team
* Ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirements
* Coordinate stock

* Experience supervising and leading customer facing teams in a high safety and high compliance environment
* Strong analytical skills
* A passion for customer service
* Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team
* An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team
* Open communication style
* Be approachable and confident when interacting with customers
* Have an eagerness to learn about new products
* To be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours
