Mid-level Desktop Support Engineer Role
About the Position
* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide timely desktop support to end-users, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.
* Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware/software issues, utilizing extensive knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting.
* Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and password resets, with expertise in directory structuring and user management.
* Perform hardware installations, replacements, and upgrades, as well as support network connectivity and security measures.
* Collaborate with IT team members to improve service delivery, document procedures, and develop effective troubleshooting strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proficient in Windows OS troubleshooting with extensive experience in handling system issues.
* Skilled in Active Directory management, including adding/removing users, managing permissions, and directory structuring.
* Experienced in Microsoft Office 365 support, including installations, updates, and troubleshooting for end-users.
* Competent in using remote desktop tools to support offsite users effectively.
* Able to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
* Capable of hardware diagnostics and repairs.
* Knowledgeable in asset management and imaging/reimaging processes.
