Overview

WHO ARE WE? At City Facilities Management Australia, communication isn't just messaging — it's how we keep people informed, engaged and connected to the work we do. City combines hands-on delivery with smart technology and data to support safe, consistent operations and strong partnerships. Since 2009, we've built our reputation through a self-delivery model focused on safety, quality and value. Guided by our values Think Safe, One Team, Work in Partnership, Lead the Way and Can Do, we bring our people, projects and successes to life across the business.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager-Communications & Stakeholder Engagement (APAC), you'll play a key role in how we communicate to our people and build our presence in the market. You'll create compelling content that informs, connects and lands. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety (with a genuine mix of internal and external communication, social media, marketing and event management), and wants to build their expertise as a communication professional.

Your Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end delivery of internal and external communications
* Content planning and management (calendar, campaigns, channels)
* Stakeholder engagement and advisory across ELT/SLT and business teams
* Digital and social content delivery (LinkedIn, Facebook, intranet, eDMs)
* Brand consistency and quality across all communication outputs
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience delivering communications or content in a professional setting
* Strong, adaptable copywriting across internal and external channels
* Proven ability to manage communications projects end-to-end while working with diverse stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment
* Experience using digital communication tools (video, eDM, social, CMS; Canva/Adobe desirable)
What's in it for you
* Hybrid Model: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH for work-life balance
* Modern Workspace: Bright, comfortable office built for collaboration
* Free Parking: Easy commute and save on transport and parking costs
* Wellness perks – Flu shots, EAP, health insurance discounts, purchased leave
* Family support – Paid parental leave, caregiver leave, domestic violence leave
* Recognition & rewards – Service awards, values awards, discounts on big brands
* Referral bonuses – Earn rewards through our Employee Referral Program

If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, write with purpose and see the impact of your work every day — we'd love to hear from you.
