We're looking for an experienced Bartender 35-37 hours per week with outstanding work ethic, passion and strong knowledge across cocktails, wine, beer and spirits in our Italian Restaurant Your friendly and outgoing personality matched with your professionalism will see you be successful in this role The right person for the position will have several years experience as a mixologist, work quickly/tidy and the ability to double shake.

Required Skills:
- 3+ years experienced mixing/serving cocktails in a fast paced environment
- Appropriately attending to customers in an efficient and timely manner
- Following measurement, drink recipes and maintain stock levels by replenishing the fridges, garnishes, shelves etc.
- Operating the coffee machine, making and serving coffee-based beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, and latte with basic milk art.
- Recommending beverages based on customer preferences and upselling where an opportunity presents itself
- Opening and closing procedures, including processing till receipts, banking cash and reconciling transactions as directed by the Manager or Supervisors
- Reporting directly to the Supervisor and Manager
- Preparing all alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages for patrons while adhering to RSA guidelines
- Appropriately pouring beer and wine, mixed drinks etc. while promoting company defined services and specials
- Processing orders as well as collecting monies utilising the point of sale, eft pos machine and cash till correctly
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment and regularly maintaining bar service areas, coffee-making areas and espresso machines
- Making a variety of coffees with Latte art such as cappuccinos, flat white and other espresso-based beverages
- Stacking the glass washer, wiping down and packing away glassware
- Greeting and serving customers both from behind the bar and on the floor and other front of house responsibilities as required
- Ordering stock, checking and packing away new stock as well as organising the stock room.
Experience/Availability
- 3+ years' Bartender experience
- RSA Certificate
- Available to work week days and weekends
- Immediate start
- Living in Cairns long term or an absolute minimum of 9 months

Pay: $33.38 – $46.00 per hour
