Pay: $25.85/hour + casual loading + penalty rates
Roster: Various hours available, Monday - Sunday
About The Role
Join our friendly and professional team as a Catering Assistant at our aged care facility in Wanneroo. This hands-on role offers flexible hours and the chance to make a real difference in the daily lives of our residents.
You will be integral to creating a warm and enjoyable mealtime experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and providing essential support to the kitchen team.
What This Role Involves
* Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
* Providing excellent customer service by serving residents' meals and snacks
* Re-stocking supplies as needed, including after meal periods
* Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
* Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Have previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
* Possess previous contract catering experience (desirable)
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
* Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own vehicle
* Be willing to undergo a Police Check and undertake a flu vaccination
