Diesel Mechanics Job Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our service team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine maintenance and repair, with excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
* Maintenance of diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and hydraulic systems on trucks, buses, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment is essential.
* A comprehensive understanding of inspection procedures, including brake system inspections, steering mechanism assessments, and engine checks.
* Routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment and parts.
* In-depth inspections and maintenance of trucks, buses, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years' experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
* Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or relevant qualification.
* Strong knowledge of diesel vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Benefits Package:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience. Several full-time positions are available.
