Regional Sales Professional
This key role within our team focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving livestock sales, and identifying new business opportunities within a designated territory.
About the Role
A varied and dynamic position includes:
* Maintaining professional connections and growing a strong portfolio of new and existing clients
* Identifying and cultivating new livestock sales opportunities
* Developing and growing relationships with key industry partners including exporters and processors
* Providing expert onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending suitable products and services to enhance their business
* Employing tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together
* Maximising promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events
* Auctioneering at the weekly Sale
Responsibilities include working both in-branch and travelling the region, assessing and preparing livestock for market to obtain maximum value for clients.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A Livestock Auctioneer Licence and Assessor Accreditation (or willingness to obtain one)
* Previous experience in a sales role, preferably within the agriculture sector, and an understanding of seasonal requirements
* Strong knowledge of livestock breeds, vet products and low stress stock handling, with a passion for driving client relationships and sales
* Commitment to positively affecting real change for both your clients and your community
* Ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current clients
