The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
* Electrical Engineering degree is required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Works well in a team environment.
* A desire to learn about the company and the industry.
* Work experience or exposure to Electrical / Telecommunications industry is highly regarded but not essential.
* A precise and careful eye for detail.
* The ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks.
* The ability to commute between multiple work locations.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Continue professional and technical development through self-education, attending supplier training sessions, seminars, etc
* Provide specialised protection and control application support. Automation and Monitoring and Diagnostics exposure is also included
* Provide detailed design and selection of equipment for electrical projects
* Perform electrical testing in our Melbourne laboratory or at site
* Assisting and reviewing hardware and software queries
* Working with the sales team, communicate product benefits and differentiators to customers
