Warehouse and Logistics Manager at Conveyor Products and Solutions
About the role
CPS is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support our manufacturing operations in Western Australia. This hands-on role is responsible for overseeing our bustling Warehouses and dispatch yard. This includes operating and managing our new, semi-autonomous VNA warehouse and associated systems. In addition, you will also coordinate our imports and exports along with our logistics and commercial teams.
About You
1. LF and LO High Risk Work License.
2. Demonstrated experience in a role at a similar level.
3. Desire to make a difference and always strive to help others to improve.
4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Knowledge of health and safety procedures and systems with the ability to identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and visitors.
Role Requirements
1. Weekday shift role 7:00am - 3:30pm (some flexibility around start and finish times).
2. Overseeing a team of long term, experienced forklift operators.
3. Managing stock levels in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.
4. Conducting cycle counts and overseeing 2 sitewide stocktakes per year.
5. Overseeing dispatch of finished goods.
6. Receipting of goods inwards.
7. Loading & unloading of trucks and containers ensuring compliance to CPS procedures.
8. Other Ad-hoc duties as directed by your manager.
Attributes and Skills
1. 3+ years within a manufacturing or like business.
2. Experience with M1 ERP system highly desirable (or any other ERP system an advantage).
3. Office365 suite including Outlook, Excel and Word skills desired.
4. Experience managing a team.
