About The Role
Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Construction Manager to join our team on multiple renewable energy/ construction projects on a 2/1 Roster. Some of your key responsibilities will include;
* Ability to coach and mentor Senior Supervisors and hold site leadership teams accountable for holding crucial conversations.
* Effectively utilise people across the Business Unit to achieve project outcomes.
* Inspire and lead relevant work teams within the Business Unit in all aspects of their employment from wages to safety and quality drives.
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Monford Employee Agreements (EA's) and relevant legislation and apply/conduct HR procedures to manage the workforce when required (i.e., grievance and discipline procedures).
* Champion safety, quality, and environment culture onsite in line with the Monford safety culture.
* Facilitate, coach and monitor activities to reduce risk i.e., work method statements, workplace inspections, audits, investigation, and risk registers.
* Ensure HSEQ compliance/reporting is achieved and communicate any changes to relevant policies and procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
* You will hold the required Degree in Construction Management or similar and have significant previous experience in a similar role on a large construction project, within the resources sector or similar.
* 10+ years' experience in Senior Supervisors role, managing 200+ resources.
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence & Construction Induction White Card.
* Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams and driving successful outcomes.
* Demonstrated experience in working to and meeting deadlines and project deliverables.
* Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
