Mike Reynolds Early Childhood Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Group Leader to join our early learning centre, leading our 2–3 year old room of 12 children.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator who is committed to providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing, play-based environment.
As the Group Leader, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive space that fosters each child's development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the 2–3 year old room
* Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning programs
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment
* Mentor and support team members within the room
Essential Requirements:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ECT qualification
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification
* Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
