The Business Manager is a key member of the School's Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the effective management of the school's financial, operational, and physical resources.
As the Business Manager of a small school, the responsibilities of the position is expansive and includes all aspects of financial management of the school and early childhood operations. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation, budget projections, HR management and financial report preparation for the School Board.
The position is permanent part-time (2 days per week) and the work days are negotiable, within the constraints of payroll and compliance responsibilities. A handover period with the current Business Manager will be provided to ensure a smooth transition to the role and community.
Qualifications / Pre Requisites
These qualifications/certificates are required prior to commencing employment at The River School and must be updated for the duration of employment:-
· Tertiary qualification/s in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or previous related experience
· Current Working with Children's Check
· Current Child Safety Certificate (online course details will be provided prior to employment)
