Engineering Surveyor | Residential Construction
Are you an Engineering Surveyor looking to be part of large-scale residential projects where your work directly shapes the build on site?
We are partnering with a highly respected builder–developer known for delivering quality residential communities across Sydney. With a strong pipeline of projects underway, they are looking to bring on an Engineering Surveyor to support the delivery of a major residential development.
This is a hands-on role working closely with the construction team to ensure accuracy across all surveying activities on site, helping drive projects from early works through to completion.
The Role
As the Engineering Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting site operations by delivering accurate survey data and ensuring construction is set out correctly in line with design and project specifications.
Working closely with project engineers, site managers and subcontractors, you will be responsible for maintaining precision across all survey and set-out activities while helping keep the project running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out site set-out and engineering surveys across the construction program
* Conduct topographical surveys, measurements and mapping using modern surveying technology
* Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, reports and calculations
* Work closely with site and project teams to support construction activities and resolve surveying issues
* Ensure all survey work aligns with design documentation and project specifications
* Provide technical input to improve accuracy, efficiency and site coordination
* Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
What We're Looking For
* Experience as an Engineering Surveyor or Surveyor within building construction (essential)
* Exposure to residential or building projects – candidates with solely civil infrastructure experience will not be considered
* Strong understanding of site set-out, land measurements and survey methods
* Experience using modern surveying equipment and software
* Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work in a fast-paced construction environment
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with site teams
* Relevant qualification in Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline
