About this role The Access and Public Engagement division is the public face of National Archives, ensuring an accessible, visible, and well-interpreted national archival collection.
It delivers description, examination, reference and research services, exhibitions, education programs, publishing, websites, marketing, and events nationally.
Within this division, the Communication, Marketing, Partnerships and Events section promotes National Archives through publishing, brand management, marketing, public relations, media, social media, partnerships, events, international engagement and membership programs.
This supports National Archives' key role of providing an accessible national archival collection.
Main duties
* Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to elevate National Archives' profile and its offerings.
* Manage and optimize key marketing channels, including digital platforms and traditional media.
* Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify collaborative promotional opportunities.
* Produce a variety of marketing materials while maintaining brand consistency and managing inventory effectively.
Required skills and qualifications
You will need:
* Tertiary qualifications and experience in marketing or communication-related fields.
