About the Role
We are seeking an experienced academic to join our Department of Nursing at Swinburne University to work in collaboration with the Department Chair and academic team to enhance the quality of nursing education and research. Supporting and leading the postgraduate mental health offerings will be a key focus.
You will contribute to leadership, development, and review of Nursing courses using blended delivery models; participate in curriculum development; engage in research and scholarship; and carry out activities to maintain your scholarly, research, and professional expertise. As a Senior Lecturer, you will promote diversity, enrich educational and research opportunities, and develop online and on-campus learning materials and assessments.
The Department of Nursing is developing postgraduate offerings in Mental Health Nursing. Candidates with mental health nursing expertise are strongly encouraged to apply.
About You
To be suitable, you should have:
* Experience in tertiary teaching, curriculum development, and nurse education.
* Experience with online learning methods in nursing education, including flexible delivery formats.
* Clinical experience in nursing or healthcare.
* Capacity to drive impactful research and partnerships.
* Experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
Qualifications
* A Doctorate or working towards one relevant to the discipline.
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or equivalent health professional qualification.
