About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead and guide a team of security officers. This role is designed for individuals with leadership experience who can work autonomously while maintaining open communication channels.
As a Team Lead, you will interact with clients, scholars, students, and members of the public in a highly visible role, providing professional information services while ensuring the safety and security of people and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting and directing small to medium-sized teams to achieve optimal performance
* Coordinating incident response and emergency management efforts
* Conducting regular foot patrols to observe, report, and manage incidents
* Delivering exceptional customer service standards while improving operational efficiency
* Maintaining compliance with organizational guidelines
* Preparing security records and reports
* Managing facility access control
Requirements:
* Security License with a minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent
* Supervisory experience with small to medium-sized teams
* Proven customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
* Demonstrated CCTV operational experience, including technical systems proficiency
* Ability to work rotating shifts
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Punctuality and reliability
* Unrestricted driver Licence
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain)
* White Card and Fire Warden certifications (or willingness to obtain)
