About the role:
This role will support the design, implementation and ongoing management of enterprise network environments within a federal government setting. The position will focus on secure and scalable networking across both on premises and cloud environments, with an emphasis on modern architecture and network security.
You will work across a range of technologies including routing, firewalls and software defined networking, contributing to the uplift of network capability and supporting day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and support enterprise routing environments including BGP
Implement and maintain next generation firewall solutions
Support the development and implementation of zero trust network architecture
Work across software defined WAN environments
Support software defined access layer technologies
Maintain and support out of band network solutions
Configure and support Azure cloud networking
Manage and troubleshoot DNS services
Work with Juniper technologies including Mist
Support Palo Alto firewall platforms across virtual and physical environments
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Work with stakeholders to support delivery outcomes and maintain stable network services
Required Skills:
Experience working with enterprise routing including BGP
Hands on experience with next generation firewall technologies
Experience working within complex network environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Experience with Azure networking
Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non technical stakeholders
Desirable Skills:
Experience with zero trust network architecture
Exposure to software defined WAN and access layer technologies
Experience with Juniper Mist
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Experience supporting out of band solutions
