The Position
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine to take on the role of Senior Consultant / Clinical Lead within a dynamic and supportive team. The position involves providing expert clinical care and leadership in Geriatric Medicine, assuming full clinical responsibility for patients, and leading a multidisciplinary medical team.
Responsibilities include supporting Advanced Trainees, contributing to medical education, and assisting the Clinical Director with unit management. This role provides the opportunity to advance leadership and management skills, while engaging with cutting-edge Digital Health and Virtual Care initiatives across the Loddon Mallee region.

Essential Criteria
* Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in Geriatric Medicine, or international equivalent with eligibility for AHPRA registration
* Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership in Geriatric Medicine
* Experience supervising trainees and contributing to medical education
* Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement

* Attractive remuneration based on experience ($168.15 – $182.38 per hour, excl. super)
