**About the role**

The **Field Enhanced Installer Repairer** role without immediate supervision or direction, undertakes the full range of challenging end to end activation and assurance functions, aligned to our current and future technology products and services.

You will provide specialist skills in one or more current technology fields. You will exceed our customers' expectations and deliver optimum service, whilst maximising network profitability and revenue. You will also actively participate in a team environment to optimise the experience for our customers, by identifying and driving proactive improvements and assisting with enhancing processes to streamline production and delivery of our complex technology products and services.

This role is defined by providing specialist skills in a given field. Some examples of specialization could be the Exchange Network or Enhanced Products and this role is the pinnacle of field technical expertise.

**This role is to support a customer contract, with currently a 2-year term and will be remote location based in Newman working throughout the Pilbara region.**

**Housing is supplied, and a generous relocation and remote allowance package included.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, to the full satisfaction of Telstra's customers.
- Compliance to the prescribed quality standards, practices, and procedures.
- Contribute to personal and public image, by compliance with all relevant policies, practices, and regulations in an effective and responsible manner.
- Establish peer relationships and identify and build support networks within operational teams.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to improve production and reduce wasted or ineffective truck rolls.
- Maintain adequate operational tools, materials, equipment, and products to maximize efficiency.
- Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards, our Code of Conduct, our Telstra Values and Corporate policies.
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely entry of timesheets, job transaction records and site survey requirements.
- Connect or replace customer equipment where required and return faulty equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensure Fee for Service processes are adhered to, to maximize the external revenue stream.
- Mentor peers/trainees with service activation and assurance tasks and provide test equipment training and guidance.
- Undertake recalls and planned events.
- Exceptional skills in the utilization of test equipment, tools and instruments aligned to the products and services listed below.
- Complete assurance & activation of all complex products & complex CPE, including:

- Exchange MDF, Customer MDF and Pillar Jumpering
- PSTN
- ISDN
- Pair Gain Systems
- ADSL (Simplex & Complex)
- nbn Business (DOT Complex)
- nbn Complex (NTU's, Business SIP)
- Data Services (WLAN, Routers & Switches)
- TIPT, MDN, MIPT
- Video Conferencing & Digital Media
- First In Network Transmission/Mobiles & Radio Assurance
- Consumer, Business & Enterprise Wi-Fi Solutions
- Internet Protocol Networking
- Cisco Certified Network Associate
- At least one technical specialization. Examples could be data products, network transmission.
