Business Development Manager
Your role as a Business Development Manager is to leverage your in-depth lending experience to grow market share by building strong, long‐lasting relationships with the local community. You'll develop tailored lending solutions that meet the needs of customers and serve as the go‐to expert in your area.
Responsibilities
* Proactively building a strong pipeline by identifying new opportunities, establishing referral partnerships, and acquiring new customers through strategic networking.
* Guiding customers seamlessly through the lending process, providing them with confidence and peace of mind as you help them achieve their financial goals.
* Strengthening your community presence by building your personal brand, nurturing and leveraging existing Community Bank relationships, and expanding your network through active participation in local events.
* Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes and help to future‐prove their financial success.
* Developing lasting relationships within the community, positioning yourself as a trusted lending expert who's always ready to support your customers' needs.

What you'll bring
* Extensive consumer lending experience – this is essential.
* Strong networks and a proven ability to self‐generate new business opportunities.
* High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations.
* An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs and develop a holistic view of their situation.
* Highly developed credit analysis skills.
* An understanding of small business offerings.
* A self‐motivated, high‐performing approach, with a proven track record of consistently delivering lending growth.

This is a permanent, full‐time position located across the three Community Banks in the group: Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud.
