About the Role
Dianella Total Health Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team on a part‐time basis. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high‐quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our well‐established medical practice located in Dianella, Western Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatments
* Administering vaccinations, injections, and other medical treatments
* Conducting health assessments, screening tests, and monitoring patient vital signs
* Providing patient education and promoting preventive healthcare
* Maintaining accurate and up‐to‐date patient records and documentation
* Coordinating patient referrals and liaising with other healthcare providers
* Ensuring the clinic's equipment and supplies are well‐stocked and maintained
* Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment, including instrument autoclave
* Assisting in minor surgical procedures, such as skin cancer removals
What We're Looking For
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current CPR certification held at time of application
* Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar clinical setting
* Strong understanding of general medical and surgical nursing practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the medical team
* Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required
* Commitment to maintaining up‐to‐date knowledge and skills through professional development
